Carl’s Place: Order Changes, Returns & Delivery Issues

Carl’s Place enclosures are made to order, and some orders may include products from other manufacturers. Please check your selections and room measurements carefully before ordering. These product-specific terms apply where they differ from Lounge Apex’s general Return and Refund Policy.

Changes and cancellations

Email support@loungeapex.com as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Include your Lounge Apex order number. A change to an existing Carl’s Place order requires cancellation and placement of a new order. Cancellation is not guaranteed once work on the order has begun.

Carl’s Place may be unable to accept a change or cancellation request for a custom item submitted more than 24 hours after order placement. If such a request is accepted, a product with custom dimensions may incur a restocking fee of up to 30%. A product involving multiple finishing techniques, a unique alternative finish, or untraditional dimensions may incur a fee of up to 50%.

If a product is identified as Manufacturer Direct, a 5% cancellation fee applies if the order can be canceled. If it cannot be canceled, its product-specific return terms apply.

Returns of standard-size DIY enclosure kits

Contact Lounge Apex to request a return within 30 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date. We must approve the return and provide instructions before you ship anything back. You are responsible for return shipping.

Returned items must arrive new and unused. Carl’s Place inspects returns before approving a refund or exchange. An item that is not new and unused may be ineligible for a refund. If Carl’s Place determines it can be resold at a discount, a 30% restocking fee applies.

Custom products

The following custom products are not eligible for return:

• Products with multiple finishing techniques or unique alternative finishes.

• Custom-size replacement components made to fit an existing product whose size is not offered on the standard product listing.

• Impact screens or enclosures with dimensions outside the range offered in Carl’s Place’s Build Your Own Golf Simulator tool.

A custom dimension does not, by itself, establish whether an item can be returned. Please ask us to confirm the return terms for your particular design before you order.

Manufacturer Direct products, electronics, and software

Manufacturer Direct and third-party products can have different return windows and conditions. When a Manufacturer Direct item is eligible for return, a 15% restocking fee applies, except for SkyTrak. Some electronics are final sale, some must remain unopened, and others have shorter return periods. We will identify the applicable product-specific terms on the product page before offering that component for sale through Lounge Apex.

Software and digitally delivered products are final sale.

Damage, missing items, and defects

Inspect your shipment when it arrives. If anything is damaged, missing, or defective, email support@loungeapex.com promptly, preferably within 24 hours of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the shipping carton, label, packaging, and affected item. Keep the packaging while we work with Carl’s Place on a resolution. A video of unpacking can also be helpful. Please contact us even if you discover an issue after your initial inspection.

Impact screens and enclosures are wear items and do not carry a general wear warranty. If you believe an item has a manufacturing defect, contact us so we can review it with Carl’s Place. Third-party components may have separate manufacturer warranties.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and passes inspection, Lounge Apex will issue the approved refund amount to the original payment method, less any applicable restocking fee. Please allow up to 10 business days after receipt of the return for processing; your payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.

If a custom consultation leads you to purchase directly from Carl’s Place, Carl’s Place will provide the terms for that direct purchase.
