Modern Billiards Returns, Cancellations & Warranty

A Modern Billiards pool table is a lasting addition to your home, thoughtfully built around your selected specifications. We want you to feel informed and comfortable throughout the ordering, delivery, and installation process.

This policy applies to Modern Billiards MFG pool tables purchased directly through Lounge Apex. For custom projects purchased directly from Modern Billiards following a Lounge Apex introduction, the manufacturer will provide the terms for that purchase.

Built to Order for You

Modern Billiards tables are built to order rather than taken from ready-to-ship inventory. Your selections guide the purchase of materials and preparation of your table.

Once an order is released to and accepted by the manufacturer, materials may be ordered and production preparations may begin promptly. For this reason, we provide a 24-hour review period before submitting your order.

Payment Authorization & Your 24-Hour Cancellation Window

Lounge Apex holds your order for 24 hours after it is placed before submitting it to Modern Billiards.

For eligible credit card payments, we authorize your payment at checkout and wait until the 24-hour cancellation window has ended before collecting payment and submitting your order. Your bank may display a temporary pending authorization during this period.

If you cancel within 24 hours of placing your order, no cancellation fee applies. We will void any uncaptured authorization or refund any payment already collected, including freight and installation charges paid with the order. Your bank or payment provider determines when the pending hold disappears or the refund appears.

To cancel, send a written request through the Lounge Apex Contact Us page. Include your name, order number, and a clear request to cancel.

The 24-hour period begins at the order timestamp shown in your confirmation. We use the time your cancellation request reaches us—not the time we respond—so a timely request will be honored even if we reply afterward.

Please use this review period to confirm your table size, finish, felt, accessories, installation location, and delivery-access details.

After Your Order Is Submitted

After the 24-hour review period, Lounge Apex may collect payment and submit your order to Modern Billiards for acceptance and production.

Once the manufacturer has accepted the order or committed to materials or production, change-of-mind cancellations, returns, and exchanges are not available. This includes changes in personal preference, décor, purchasing plans, or customer-selected specifications.

If you contact us after the review period but before the manufacturer has accepted or committed to your order, we will check whether cancellation remains possible.

Changes to an accepted order require written manufacturer approval. Depending on the stage of production, changes may not be possible and may affect the price or completion schedule.

Final-sale terms for custom orders do not prevent us from helping with delivery damage, an incorrect item, or a product concern.

White-Glove Delivery & Installation

Manufacturer-coordinated white-glove delivery and installation are required for Modern Billiards tables purchased through Lounge Apex.

These tables require specialized assembly that differs from standard pool table installation. Modern Billiards coordinates the delivery and installation team so your table can be assembled and leveled by people familiar with its construction.

Freight and white-glove delivery and installation are separate from the table price and are itemized with your order.

Before ordering, please confirm your room dimensions and tell us about stairs, elevators, narrow doorways, tight turns, or other access restrictions. If you are unsure whether your space or delivery route is suitable, contact Lounge Apex before placing your order.

Delivery Damage or an Order Concern

Please review your table with the installation team and point out any visible damage, missing components, incorrect specifications, or setup concerns before the team leaves whenever possible.

If you notice a concern afterward, contact Lounge Apex promptly with your order number, a description, and clear photographs or video where practical.

We will coordinate with Modern Billiards to review the concern and arrange the appropriate correction. Modern Billiards has confirmed that it will cover correction of freight damage, including making and shipping replacement components when needed.

Because replacement components may be made specifically for your table, additional manufacturing time may be necessary. We will keep you informed as the manufacturer confirms the resolution and timing.

Please do not return or ship any table or component without written instructions. If a return is needed to resolve an order concern, we will explain the arrangements and any applicable costs before you proceed.

Manufacturer’s One-Year Limited Warranty

Modern Billiards provides a one-year limited warranty covering naturally occurring cracks in the table’s wood components, subject to its written warranty terms.

For an approved claim, Modern Billiards will make and ship the necessary replacement component at its expense. Replacement parts may require manufacturing time.

The customer is responsible for the additional installation labor needed to fit a warranty replacement component. Please request the anticipated installation cost before authorizing that work.

Damage caused by the customer is not covered by this manufacturer warranty.

To request assistance, contact Lounge Apex with your order number, photographs, and a description of the concern, including when it was first noticed. We will help coordinate the review with Modern Billiards.

The manufacturer’s complete written warranty will be available for review before purchase and will explain when coverage begins and how claims are handled.

Production & Delivery Updates

Each Modern Billiards table is built to order, with production, freight transportation, and white-glove installation occurring in separate stages. Estimated timelines are provided to help you plan, but actual completion and delivery dates may vary.

If an unexpected manufacturing delay affects your order, Lounge Apex will work directly with Modern Billiards to obtain updated information and communicate any significant changes to your anticipated timeline.

Should a substantial delay or manufacturing issue arise, we will review the circumstances with the manufacturer and work with you to determine the appropriate next steps, including any remedies available under the applicable purchase terms.

Our priority is to keep you informed, address concerns promptly, and ensure your table receives the attention and care it deserves.

Refund Processing

When a refund is due, Lounge Apex will process it promptly using the original payment method unless another arrangement is agreed upon or required.

For an uncaptured credit card authorization, we will void the authorization rather than process a completed-payment refund. Your bank controls how quickly that pending hold disappears.

For payments already collected, your bank or payment provider controls when the refund appears in your account. We will confirm when the refund has been issued.
